Job: Trainee Sound Assistant / Recordist

Fresh Audio is looking for a Trainee Sound Assistant / Recordist to join our growing team as we continue to work across high-end TV, factual, and entertainment productions.

This role is designed for someone at the early stage of their career in television sound who already has some TV experience and is eager to develop their skills within a professional, supportive environment.

 

The Role
As a Trainee Sound Assistant, you’ll work alongside the Fresh Audio team across a wide range of television productions. You’ll support location sound crews, learn best-practice broadcast workflows, and gain hands-on experience across professional TV sound environments.

This is a training-focused role with clear progression, ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in sound.

Requirements

• Previous TV experience (essential)

• Full UK driving licence (essential)

• Based in London or Manchester

• Strong interest in career development within sound

• Professional, reliable, and able to work as part of a team

*If based in Manchester, initial training in London will be required at the start of the contract.
